About me
Keith Lotridge started at the Office of the Public Defender (OPD) in Prince George’s County in 2004. He spent time in private practice but found his driving passion in representing indigent clients in criminal cases. Since joining OPD, he has served as a trial attorney in District and Circuit Court, a Circuit Court Supervisor, Deputy District Public Defender, and most recently as District Public Defender for Prince George’s County. Mr. Lotridge is an instructor for OPD’s Gideon Promise training program and has lectured on various other topics for OPD staff and other legal and community organizations. While in Prince George’s County leadership, he helped establish and renegotiate participation in several Specialty Court programs. He coordinated federal litigation on multiple issues, fostered close relationships with community activist and grassroots organizations, and was appointed a member of the Police Reform Committee for Prince George’s County. He has won numerous awards, including the Maryland Office of the Public Defender’s 2017 Alan H. Murrell, Leader of Justice Award. Prior to his career as an attorney, Mr. Lotridge owned and managed several businesses in Maryland.
