About me
Taylor Nickerson is the Grants Manager for the St. Mary’s County Health Department’s Local Behavioral Health Authority. She supports the Division of Behavioral Health by overseeing and coordinating multiple behavioral health grant funding streams from federal, state, and local sources. She collaborates with behavioral health program staff to develop, compile, and submit timely and accurate grant reports, and researches and tracks new funding opportunities while leading the writing and coordination of new and renewal grant proposals to advance behavioral health initiatives. She works closely with the fiscal office to monitor grant expenditures, ensure alignment with approved budgets, and develop and issue requests for proposals (RFPs) to community organizations and subrecipients. Taylor earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from James Madison University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
